We know and love the stories of teenage superheroes, grappling with emotions and identity as they figure out what it means to be a superhero.

We know and love the stories of powerful fighters for justice, the glamorous crusaders who keep the world spinning.

But these stories, as so many do, often come full circle.

And it's time we see how they end. In the same moments of uncertainty, confusion, and conflict that they began in.

"But I Handled It Like a Champion" is a game in which a number of players take on the roles of superheroes nearing the end of their careers; often relatively early in their lives - it's a lucrative line of work, but hard to sustain for longer than a few years, before you or your body starts to buckle under the pressure. Using the rules of Grant Howitt's "Honey Heist", your heroes will walk the line between what it means to be super, what it means to be human, and what it looks like when a superhero story reaches it conclusion. Sometimes the endings are happy. A lot of times, they're just final.

This can be played with or without a Game Manager, and uses a 6-sided die for play. Character generation takes only a few minutes, making this an excellent pick for convention games, one-shots, or last-moment swaps on a scheduled campaign night.

The rules for this game can be printed (double-sided) onto a single sheet of paper - the straightforward, open-ended nature of play makes this an easy approach for those who might not be as familiar with tabletop role-playing, or for those who like playing without crunch.

Haha! Glad I could help. I had it pulled up on my phone since you posted it on Discord, so I figured it was something wrong with the mobile download client, but I guess it wasn't. Very interested in checking this one out!
